Had a lovely drink at your place on Saturday afternoon – staff were really excellent, obviously well trained? They asked where we were from – and when I asked for wine they said Large? – Excellent sales skills (and of course I said Yes). They also made a great recommendation, as I am fussy about my Pinot Noir!!! All in all very impressive, you obviously have got an excellent team working for you.”

We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere on Friday evening, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and so good to the grand children – and the adults!! Also very much appreciated were the table decorations which added just that little extra. Thanks again from the Mum & Nanna of the 24 strong party, which invaded last week from Melbourne, Sydney, Wellington, Hamilton. Auckland & Tauranga

I got rave reviews for the choice of restaurant on Saturday night, so I would like to pass on my thanks to you and your staff. The superb cuisine was equally matched by the service we received. It was well organised and seemed to run like clockwork. That is how it appeared from our end anyway. Nothing was too much trouble, and every effort was made to accommodate our requests. I would not hesitate in using your restaurant in future and will certainly be recommending it to others.

I came in for dinner on Saturday night. I had the most amazing dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the ambience was fantastic. For dessert I had the white and dark chocolate marquise, and it blew my socks off. It was to die for. I went in on Sunday morning to try and get the recipe, but the head chef wasn't there (so I ordered another one and had it for breakfast). The nice lady at the bar gave me this email address, and am hoping that you would be able to provide the recipe for me?

Hello there, my name is Carolena, and my husband, friends & I had the pleasure of Dining in your wonderful 35 Degrees South restaurant, when we were visiting Paihia from Perth - it was a fantastic experience, we have told so many West Aussies to visit your restaurant. We particulary remember the very friendly staff & great seafood. When we visited I had the most fabulous dish, Green lipped mussels done in a red curry sauce of some description. I really want to make it at home & wonder if you would mind giving me an idea of the ingredients used? We plan to make a return visit later this year & will definitely be stopping in at 35 Degrees South!

Hi there,
I just wanted to have a gush about the time we had at 35 degrees on thursday the 22nd of November. We run a tiling business and for our staff event we bought our staff and partners up to the copthorne resort for a night. Come dinner time we realised we hadnt made any plans for dinner and at such short notice we were worried we wouldnt find a place that would be able to serve us.We rang 35 degrees and they encouraged us that they would have a table for 6 ready for our us in just over an hour. I was so pleased as friends had reccommended the resturant many times.

We arrived and we just had amazing service. We were seated in a beautiful spot outside over-looking the water and our waitress (scottich girl i think, she had an accent) was so accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and delivered water to us within minutes of us being seated.

Being as busy as we are i wouldnt normally go to the bother of writing to you as i am but the service and food was so amazing i had to let you know. He was previoulsly a chef and he said they were the finest he has ever had. Everyone ordered different mains and it was good to see the variety on the menu, I dont eat seafood so I ordered the steak which turned out to be one of the best meals I have ever had, everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. we talked about nothing else but how good the food was for most of our stay. my husband ordered the salmon which he said was melt in the mouth. We also ordered bottles of wine which were great.

The dessert was equally incredible, the portions were just right and the presentation was beautiful. i have to say that the meal we had with you made our trip! we had such amazing service you would think we were the only ones in the place, even though you were full. Thankyou so much for a great meal and night out. We have been reccommending your resturant to everyone we know, we live in whangarei but despite the distance we will be making the trip up again just to go to 35 degrees.

Please pass on our thanks to all your staff, how refreashing to recieve such perfect service and meals at such short notice!

I will not hesitate in coming up again for future staff events!
